Arthur Wu, MD is a board-certified Otolaryngologist, Head and Neck Surgeon and fellowship-trained Endoscopic Sinus and Skull Base Surgeon.
Expertise
Dr. Wu is trained in the medical and surgical management of all aspects of general otolaryngology. He specializes in Endoscopic Sinus Surgery and has a particular interest in the treatment of nasal and sinus related diseases including chronic sinusitis, nasal polyps, nasal obstruction and allergic rhinitis.
He also has an interest in the endoscopic treatment of skull base tumors and ophthalmologic disorders including eye tearing and proptosis.
Education
Dr. Wu graduated with Honors and Distinction from Stanford University with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and earned his M.D. degree from Duke University. He then completed his residency training in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the University of California Los Angeles.
Following residency, Dr. Wu completed the Harvard Sinus and Skull Base Surgery Fellowship with Dr. Ralph Metson, an international leader in the field. He has presented nationally and published numerous articles on the treatment of chronic sinusitis, nasal polyps, sinonasal and skull base tumors, and the endoscopic treatment of orbital disease. He is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, American Rhinologic Society, and American Academy of Otolaryngologic Allergy as well as an editor of www.sinusvideos.com.
